Zeekr unveils 7X and new 009 Executive ZEEKR GROUP has unveiled its latest all-electric models – the Zeekr 7X and the Zeekr 009 Executive at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025. both drivers and passengers. With a rapid acceleration of 0 to 100kP/h in just 3.8 seconds, the SUV combines the performance of a sports car with the practicality of a family vehicle. In Malaysia, the Zeekr 7X will be available in three variants: the RWD Standard priced at RM182,000, the RWD Long Range at RM195,000, and the AWD Performance variant at RM230,000. These prices are exclusive to the first 500 customers, forming part of Zeekr’s early ownership initiative to attract local buyers to the premium EV seg ment.

Alongside the 7X, Zeekr also intro duced a new variant of its flagship lux ury MPV – the Zeekr 009 Executive. Positioned as a refined choice for both business professionals and fami lies, the 009 Executive joins the exist ing 6-seater Ultra Luxury and 7-seater Luxury models in the company’s port folio. The new Executive variant features a single front-mounted electric motor

delivering 335hp and 373Nm of torque, paired with a 116kWh battery. It is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kph in just 7.9 seconds while offer ing a class-leading range of 604km (WLTP). With a price tag of RM310,000, this variant is now open for bookings at the Autoshow and through Zeekr’s authorised dealerships nationwide. The exclusive pricing applies to the first 500 customers.

Proton e.MAS 5 takes centre stage AS the country’s largest automotive showcase unfolds, PRO-Net is asserting its leadership in EV inno vation alongside Proton, reflecting a national vision increasingly shaped by sustainability and future-for ward design. Among the headline attractions is a new EV model, freshly revealed under a camouflaged wrap that quickly became a focal point for visitors. This latest development marks a pivotal chapter in Pro-Net’s electrification roadmap. During a dedicated media session, chief executive Officer Zhang Qiang officially introduced the com pany’s latest electric vehicle – the Proton e.MAS 5. Scheduled for market launch in the final quarter of 2025, the e.MAS 5 is designed to cater to young driv ers and first-time EV buyers, offering a stylish, practi cal, and accessible entry point into electric mobility. The model is intended to support Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), which targets 80% of new vehicle sales to be electrified by 2050. Unlike the family-oriented e.MAS 7, the e.MAS 5 targets a more vibrant and youthful market, embrac ing a greener and more connected automotive future. Coinciding with the vehicle’s debut, Pro-Net launched its “Electrify Your Life” Campaign, a national initiative designed to further drive EV adoption. Running from May 8 to July 31, the campaign invites Malaysians to share creative slogans that capture the spirit of electrification through an official microsite. The roadshow will stop at several key locations across the country: TRX Mall, Kuala Lumpur (May 22–25), Gurney Paragon, Penang (June 13–15), AEON Mall, Melaka (June 27–29), Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru (July 3–6), Central i-City, Shah Alam (Aug 21–24) Adding to the significance of the event, the Malaysia Autoshow also served as the closing chapter of the Asean Unity Drive, a landmark EV expedition that spanned nine Southeast Asian countries over 16 days.

BMW MALAYSIA has officially launched the new BMW 330Li M Sport at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing global celebration of 50 years of the BMW 3 Series. This long-wheelbase variant represents the latest evolution in a model line that has shaped the premium sports sedan segment for half a century. First introduced in 1975, the BMW 3 Series has con tinually set the benchmark for sporty driving dynam ics, engineering precision, and forward-thinking tech nology. Now in its seventh generation, the latest 330Li M Sport continues this tradition with a modern interpre tation that blends athletic performance, luxurious refinement, and cutting-edge digital integration — all tailored to meet the demands of the contemporary Malaysian driver. Visually, the 330Li M Sport preserves the hallmark design of the 3 Series, combining elegance with a clear sporting edge. Its signature kidney grille, finished in Pearl Chrome, lends the front fascia a commanding presence. Flanking the grille are slimmer adaptive LED head lamps, offering enhanced road illumination and rein forcing the vehicle’s sharp, modern aesthetic. latest BMW Operating System 8.5. The system introduces a more intuitive interface with QuickSelect functionality, granting easier access to navigation, media, and vehicle settings. The car’s mechanical credentials are anchored by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 258hp and 400Nm of torque. This powerplant propels the sedan from 0 to 100kph in 6.2 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 kph. Priced at RM320,800, the 330Li M Sport is offered in three distinctive exterior colours – Carbon Black, M Brooklyn Grey, and Arctic Race Blue – the model is available with high-quality interior upholstery in either Leather Vernasca Mocha or Leather Vernasca Cognac, blending comfort with visual elegance. New customers benefit from the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) programme, which includes a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and five years or 100,000km of service coverage. For electric vehicle customers, BMW extends serv ice coverage to six years with unlimited mileage, along side an eight-year warranty on high-voltage batteries. To mark the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, BMW Malaysia is also offering limited-time incentives on selected models. Customers booking between before May 31 2025 will receive a complimentary one-year BSI Extension and a first-year motor insurance subsidy worth RM5,000 through the Easy Drive financing pro gramme. These offers apply to selected models across the 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, and BMW X range.
