Rooted in the spirit of adventure, the VT9 combines bold design with smart versatility. “VT” stands for “Venture,” reflecting Jetour’s brand Travel+ philosophy of creating vehicles for meaningful, experi ence-driven journeys. The “9” represents increased space and comfort – perfect for family trips and long-distance travel. As part of the Travel+ lineup, the VT9 delivers style, convenience, and a sense of freedom wherever the road leads. Built on a robust platform, the SUV features a bold 1.9m-wide body with a sleek and dynamic silhouette. Its athletic yet refined stance is defined by the signature Jetour X-Face front, LED lighting systems, and sporty dual twin tailpipes. Inspired by traditional Chinese design, elements such as lantern-style daytime running lights and a feather array grille fuse cultural heritage with contemporary sophistication. Inside, it features a 7-seater cabin with foldable second and third row seats, offering up to 1,680L of cargo space. Premium touches include a leather wrapped D-shape steering wheel, alu minium accents, and perforated seats for optimal comfort. Tested by professionals, it ensures a smooth and efficient drive with over 2 million kilometres of durability, powered by a 1.5L TCI engine paired with a 6DCT transmission. Targeting dynamic families and mod ern professionals, the SUV is available in Standard and Prime variants, offering flexibility in features and pricing to suit a variety of lifestyles. The Comfort variant starts from RM118,800 nett while the Prime variant is priced from RM123,800 nett. iCaur showcases electric off-road SUVs
MARKING its official entry into the Malaysian mar ket, iCaur, a new off-road New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand, was launched at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, becoming the first Asean coun try to welcome the brand following its global unveiling at Auto Shanghai last month. A collaboration between Chery and SmartMi Tech, iCaur aims to redefine the off-road electric SUV landscape with a brand ethos centred around innovation, connectivity, and youthful dynamism. The company is targeting adventurous drivers and urban trendsetters, promoting its vehicles as more than just modes of transportation and instead an extension of personal identity and life style. At the centre of iCAUR’s local introduction is the preview of three fully electric SUVs: the 03, 03T, and V23. Leading the initial wave is the iCaur 03, sched uled for release in Malaysia by the third quarter of 2025. The 03 is designed to balance urban utility with
rugged capability. It embraces the brand’s distinc tive ‘i-Box’ design language and is offered in two variants: a 2-Wheel Drive (2WD) and an Intelligent Wheel Drive (iWD) configuration. The 2WD model is powered by a rear-mounted 135kW motor, delivering 220Nm of torque, sup ported by a 65.7kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with an NEDC range of up to 426km. The iWD variant, tailored for more demanding conditions, includes a front axle motor for a com bined output of 205kW and 385Nm of torque. It is equipped with a slightly larger 69.8kWh battery, capable of delivering 418km of driving range under the NEDC cycle. Registrations of interest for the iCaur 03 are now open in Malaysia, with a refundable deposit of RM1,000. The 2WD model is priced from approxi mately RM145,000, while the iWD variant is expected to retail around RM155,000. Customers who place their orders during the Malaysia Autoshow will receive a limited-edition scale model of the SUV upon delivery later this year.
