Meanwhile, NSFC head coach Mohd Nidzam Jamil said that a loss of concentration in the final five minutes of the match was among the reasons why his team lost despite taking the lead through the first goal in the eighth minute. “The team has to focus 100% in the 90 min utes of the game, we cannot allow pressure to control us, the most important thing is concen tration, it needs to be improved immediately,” he said. Regarding the team’s performance which has been seen to have declined slightly recently, Mohd Nidzam said that the manage ment is always in contact with him and under stands the team’s situation. “There is no issue of distrust (in his leader ship) but the result of the match is still the main determinant and the result can affect many things... it is normal in the career of a coach. “My responsibility is to ensure the team plays better than the previous season. TERENGGANU FC (TFC) interim head coach Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan hopes his men will continue to maintain their momentum and consis tent performance in the next match after record ing a 2-1 victory over Melaka FC in the Malaysia Super League at Hang Jebat Stadium on Saturday night. He also thanked all the players and praised their commitment and discipline, thus ensuring that his team garnered three points. He said that although many local players were fielded in the match, they managed to carry out their responsibilities well and fulfill the team’s needs, besides seeing that his team now have many player options to prepare for the remaining matches. “Early on, I stressed and told the players that we should ‘kill the game’ based on the number of chances created. We had eight or nine good chances, but failed to make the most of them. “There were times when we looked a bit cha otic, but the players managed to absorb the pres sure and they were able to do what I wanted in the last 10 minutes and stick to what was planned,” he told reporters after the match here.
