songwriting and vocal expression. The track blends shimmering 80s-inspired melodies with the textures of modern urban rock and alternative pop, presenting his vision of what the next wave of pop music can sound like today. Lyrically, it signals a notable shift. After a year of deeply introspective songwriting, Rol3ert turns outward for the first time, centring the narrative on
everything, recording stripped-back acoustic versions from our first two albums. Spending time with these songs again reminded us why we started Honne in the first place and why this music still means so much to us.” Since releasing its first song, Warm on a Cold Night , Honne’s journey has taken it far beyond anything it could have ever imagined. What began as a single late-night track from humble recording sessions in London quickly grew into a global career, encompassing sold-out tours, multiple albums and a devoted international fanbase. “ Warm on a Cold Night set us off on an incredible journey. It has been the most beautiful adventure, taking us to places we always dreamt of visiting, bringing us immense joy and happiness – not only because we were fulfilling our teenage dreams but because we could see how much comfort our songs were bringing others,” the band added. The anniversary campaign begins with a newly re-recorded version of the duo’s debut single Warm on a Cold Night (10 Years) , which is out now. “This song always felt jazzy and late-night to us, so we leaned into that feeling with this new version and yes, a familiar voice returns – our old “someone” – a girl. His previous single (How Could I Be) Honest? , which was released in December 2025, gained rapid traction across Asia, riding on viral charts in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, earning heavy rotation on Singapore radio station 987FM, and peaking at fifth on Singapore’s Shazam charts. On Spotify, the song surpassed 500,000 streams within its first month, becoming Rol3ert’s fastest growing release to date. Across Asia, user-generated content featuring the track has continued to spread organically, amplifying its reach among younger listeners. A standout lyric from the song – “Help me. I wish I could be bleeding. So you could see the pain” – resonated deeply with listeners of the same generation across Asia, cutting through language barriers and contributing to the song’s momentum. This regional momentum arrives alongside growing industry recognition. After winning Best Breakthrough Artiste at the Tokyo Alter Music Awards in October 2025, and being selected as part of Spotify Japan’s Radar: Early Noise 2026, Rol3ert continues to build steady traction across Asia and beyond. His previous releases have received strong DSP support across Japan, Southeast Asia and North America, positioning him as an artiste increasingly resonating with global, English-speaking audiences. Alongside his recorded momentum, Rol3ert is entering a
