Didie Shazry’s debut o Singer-composer drops first album Demi Sebuah Rindu
A FTER making a name as the inaugural champion of the 2025 reality programme Raise The Star Malaysia , Didie Shazry has now stepped into a new phase of his artistic career with his debut album titled Demi Sebuah Rindu . The debut album not only introduces Didie – whose real name is E.D. Shazry Aman – as a singer and composer, but also serves as a medium to convey more personal stories, touching on mental health issues and the loss of loved ones. Produced with the support of MyCreative Venture, the album highlights the true story of lyricist and album producer Julie Ezwin, which is interpreted by Didie in the form of musical works as the main theme of the album. For the Kota Kinabalu, Sabah born artiste, the album also marks an important step in standing on the strength of his own work, without relying on the popularity gained from the reality competition. According to Didie, 24, he chose not to explain in detail the true meaning behind each song, so that listeners are free to interpret them based on their own experiences. INDONESIAN singer Ghea Indrawari is set to reunite with her Malaysian fans through a special solo concert titled “Ghea Indrawari: Rasi Jiwa – Live in Kuala Lumpur”, scheduled to take place on May 8 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur. The concert is expected to deliver a performance filled with emotion and intimacy, staying true to Ghea’s musical identity, which is known for soulful storytelling and ballads rooted in emotional honesty. According to Ghea, Rasi Jiwa carries a philosophy of self-acceptance and the emotional processes that are not necessarily perfect. “Rasi Jiwa rejects the standard of ‘having to be okay’. It encourages young people to acknowledge the process, including

songwriter Luke Chiang unveiled his latest track Say That! – the final single off his upcoming debut LP slated for the first quarter of the year. The release arrived as another confident step forward for an artiste who has steadily reintroduced himself after a two year vocal hiatus, reconnecting with fans and reaching new audiences in the process. Say That! is an upbeat indie-pop heartbreak track that masks emotional tension beneath glossy R&B- and electronic inspired harmonies, driven by an infectious melody that lingers long after the song ends. Balancing brightness with vulnerability, the track captures the emotional push and pull of walking away from someone you still love. “It’s about regretting words unsaid after leaving somebody you’re still in love with – despite walking away in the end while wishing they knew there were times you genuinely wanted to spend the rest of your lives together,” Chiang said. Say That! follows the breakout momentum of Chiang’s earlier singles Terrible4u and What Can I Do? , which are currently averaging a combined 750,000 weekly streams on Spotify. These
