Beyond the physical demands, Ngai shared that one of his biggest challenges was tapping into the character’s subdued inner world. Unlike his outgoing, energetic personality, Killer No. 4 is controlled, quiet and observant – requiring him to restrain his natural warmth to portray the character’s calm, focused nature. Ngai also spoke about shooting in Japan, describing it as challenging and exhilarating. Filming at locations such as temples and arcades provided a fresh sense of discovery, while the harsh winter conditions pushed the team to their limits, “there were days when we slept only two hours and filmed more than 10 hours straight in –6°C, but despite the exhaustion, the experience was unforgettable,” he recalled. When asked about his dream collaborations and future career direction, Ngai shared with a smile: “I really want to work with Dwayne Johnson. If I ever get the chance, I’d definitely train to become more muscular. But if a romance film could also become a box-office hit – why not?” Ngai also met fans in a lively session filled with humour and excitement. He played a shooting mini-game on stage, shared personal “Killer No. 4” pointers and interacted warmly with the crowd. He also revealed his plans for 2026, which include continuing to take on new film projects and releasing Mandarin music. The adrenaline-charged Road to Vendetta is now showing in Malaysian cinemas.
