Enproserve wins two-year Petronas Carigali pipeline maintenance deal PETALING JAYA: Enproserve Group Bhd, a provider of mechanical and civil engineering services for the oil and gas (O&G) and petrochemical in dustries, has secured a two-year contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for onshore pipeline maintenance services. The contract, awarded to Enpro serve’s wholly owned subsidiary Enproserve (M) Sdn Bhd, extends the group’s footprint into the upstream sector for onshore assets, and builds on its track record as a service provider to Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas). As a Department of Occupational Safety and Health-certified contractor for onshore petroleum pipelines, Enproserve is qualified to operate in this highly regulated sector. The contract’s scope of work involves comprehensive services to maintain the integrity of onshore pipeline sections for Petronas Carigali’s facilities located in the East Coast region of Malaysia. The works include preventive and corrective measures, such as refurbishment of pipelines and associated facilities, including pipe supports. Enproserve will also provide emergency repair capabilities, civil works, and services for onshore coating and cathodic protection system main tenance. The group has active field operations in Johor, Malacca and Terengganu. It also provides facility management services for government office and residential buildings in Putrajaya.

In a statement, MDEC said these platforms provided a high-profile stage to showcase the country’s cutting-edge solutions, engage with key regional players, and highlight the capabilities of Malaysian businesses across emerging sectors such as fintech, artificial intelligence and digital services. It added that strong ties between Malaysia and the Middle East, particularly the United Arab Emirates, created strategic opportunities for Malaysian companies to tap into one of the region’s most dynamic digital economies. MDEC played a central role in facilitating these US Ambassador to Malaysia Edgard D. He reaffirmed that the US has long stood by Malaysia and remains a vital economic partner through robust American investments and bilateral trade, while also serving as a strong security partner. “We’ve seen the resurgence of popular support in Malaysia for the relationship (with the US),” he noted.

The RLOA2 formalises SIBS’s role as the main contractor for the development of 632 housing
