Purr-fect sweep o Malaysian felines emerge winners of international cat show
M ALAYSIA’S feline stars made history at the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) International Cat Show 2025, held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida last month, where local-bred cats stole the spotlight on a global stage. A total of 14 Malaysian cats won titles in three major categories at the awards ceremony. Among the celebrated winners was Mothercare Akiko of Gradus, who clinched the Best Kitten (International) title. The moment was made even more unforgettable as Malaysia’s national anthem Negaraku was played during the awards banquet. Rags to riches Joining Akiko in the spotlight was GH, HNW Bella, who won theBest Household Pet (International) title. Owned by Grace Chong, Bella’s win proves all cats, regardless of pedigree, when nourished from within can be champions! Local Malaysian winner GC, BWI, NW Winterknight’s Joker also bagged the eight Best Championship (International) title at the awards ceremony, cementing Malaysia’s presence in the world cat competition platform.
