WHAT began as an ambitious vision 10 years ago has now reshaped the heart of Alor Setar. Where an abandoned parcel of land once stood, Aman Central has risen to become Northern Malaysia’s lifestyle destination. Over the past decade, the shopping mall has drawn international brands, nurtured homegrown entrepreneurs, inspired the rise of boutique hotels and new businesses, and helped redefine Alor Setar as a vibrant modern city. Through every fashion show, festive celebration, art installation and community initiative, Aman Central is a space where the spirit of Kedah is expressed with pride and where new stories continue to unfold. This 10th anniversary marks a reflection of how vision, purpose and resilience can transform a place and shape the cultural life of a region.

Axuan, YT Lim, Asyraf Arrif and Taufik Idros will present alongside visionary designer Shanell Harun, and rising names Isyraf Arysi, Hazizul Aziz, Helmi Hamdan, Ku Syafiq and Liren Ho. This year’s lineup will bring fresh energy to KFW 2025 and reflect the vibrant creative movement that continues to grow in Northern Malaysia. This year, the Diamond theme captures the spirit of a decade shaped by creativity, resilience and transformation. Like a diamond forged through time and pressure, each facet of this journey reflects the evolving story of Kedah through its heritage, artistry and pursuit of beauty. The collections presented at KFW 2025 will bring this spirit to life, blending tradition with bold innovation and offering a vibrant expression of craftsmanship, cultural identity and sustainable design.

That spirit will be celebrated this August with Kedah Fashion Week 2025 (KFW). Taking place from Aug 1–3, this year’s edition carries the theme “Diamond”, a symbol of strength, brilliance and timeless beauty. Like a diamond shaped through time and pressure, Aman Central and KFW have evolved through the years. The 2025 edition of KFW will be the most exciting yet. About 18 couture designers will take the stage, joined by 11 emerging student designers from Universiti Kuala Lumpur. This year, KFW welcomes an international designer, with celebrated Thai talent Patinya adding a regional perspective.
