Global logistics services provider DHL has reaffirmed its commitment to Malaysia through Strategy 2030, a five-year roadmap aimed at accelerating sustainable growth with an expanded focus on high-value sectors. CHAMPIONING SUSTAINABILITY ... In conjunction with this year’s Pavilion REIT’s Pavilion Loves Sustainability Campaign, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Centre Court has been transformed into a hub of sustainability education, with interactive zones and community workshops that inspire action across environmental, health and social pillars. This year’s campaign, which ends tomorrow, places a strengthened focus on youth empowerment and community wellness through a strategic new partnership with the Nicol David Organisation. TALENT PIPELINE ... The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has launched the Young Regulators Development Programme in collaboration with Durham University, United Kingdom. The two-week, intensive capacity-building programme aims to cultivate a pipeline of skilled talent to support the growth and stability of regional capital markets. A signing ceremony was held in Durham on Monday. SUKUK PROGRAMME ... UOB Malaysia and Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) have been appointed as joint principal advisers, joint lead arrangers, and joint lead managers for Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd’s (PBAPP) inaugural RM5 billion medium-term sukuk programme. Maybank IB also acted as the sole sustainability structuring adviser for PBAPP’s newly launched Sustainable Finance Framework. GENTING TRIP ... Resorts World Genting (RWG) and Trip.com Group on Wednesday signed two memorandums of understanding to strengthen their strategic collaboration. The pacts with two of Trip.com Group’s core business pillars in Malaysia aim to boost inbound travel, leveraging Trip.com Group’s global audience as RWG’s top supporting online travel agency.
