A career in nutrition is ideal for those seeking to promote a balanced lifestyle and improve people’s diets.” “This is why TAR UMT students who are studying their degree in nutrition will spend their first year learning various theories. The second and third year will focus more on practical approaches, such as community-based research activities to produce suitable and practical nutrition plans for the communities. They learn how to provide professional consultation on nutrition. This is in addition to the customary industrial training.” “In totality, the programme aims to develop a wide range of skills in students, so as to empower them in providing evidence-based nutritional guidelines and recommendations in nutrition and other food-related industries.” To find out more about TAR UMT’s degree programme in nutrition and other applied sciences programmes, visit during Open Day from 14 – 15 June 2025 at TAR UMT KL Campus and/or all TAR UMT branches nationwide.
