Sabahans are always known for their musical talent; Stacy is no exception. She grew up in a family that loves music, with her father and brother as her idols. Music has been a constant part of her journey through a world of love and hardship. Stacy had to drop out of school early to help support her family by singing at a SXE D KXJH VDFUL¿FH IRU VRPHRQH ZKR was just 16. Thanks to her undeniable talent and captivating stage presence, the sweet taste of success came not long after. Her life journey has become Stacy’s biggest LQVSLUDWLRQ DV DQ DUWLVW FOHDUO\ UHÀHFWHG in the beautifully penned, heartfelt lyrics of her songs such as Cinta, Saksama and Teriak. “When I am not working in the studio writing new music or practising dance routines for my next performance, I love swimming and playing badminton with my three kids and my husband. Aside from that, I love cooking and being outdoors in nature,” Stacy shared. Stacy has had her fair share of ups and downs throughout her career. Being so well-known is not easy, as every move is watched and scrutinised. Behind the persona of Malaysia’s Dancing Queen, Stacy is also a daughter, a sister, a mother and a wife. Like everyone else, she ex periences life’s highs and lows, though unfortunately, she sometimes has to go through them in the public eye. “The hardest thing for me throughout my career was going through a phase of loss and having to keep going. I had to put on a brave face and carry on. That same courage is what pushed me to evolve from just singing and performing on stage to producing and writing music with my husband for other artists,” Stacy explained.

She is also very open to experimenting with new styles, making her a fashion chameleon over the years.
