New Balance Grey Days 2025 Celebration

Date: May 9 – June 2 Time: 10am –10pm Venue: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Bukit Bintang New Balance is holding its annual legacy celebration at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur this year, celebrating with two key experiences: The In-Store Experience and a dedicated Pop-Up. The In-Store experience will be available until June 2 while the Pop-Up will be up until this Sunday, showcasing a curated selection of the brand’s products.

JB Laugh Lounge with Papi Zak & Kavin Jay

Date: May 17 Time: 8.30pm Venue: Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru Following a successful debut, JB Laugh Lounge is back with a new series to put Johor on the map for stand-up comedy. Organised by Coaction Events, the series will follow two of Malaysia’s top comedy acts – 16-year industry veteran Papi Zak and Netflix favourite Malaysian comedian Kavin Jay.

Ombak Festival

Ombak Festival returns this year with a bigger celebration of Southeast Asia’s creativity, culture and community, promising a weekend of legendary performances and parties. Renowned artistes such as Joe Flizzow, SonaOne and Don West will grace the stage. Other offerings include culinary treats from local eateries such as Carbon KL and exciting game activities with Legoland.

Le Tabouret

Date: June 13 – 15 Time: 3pm & 8pm Venue: Auditorium A, Penang Tickets: RM45 – RM100

Created by D Yang Productions, Noise Performance House and Wave-breaking Puppet Theatre, the Le Tabouret production invites audiences to confront the decline of traditional arts and the eternal dilemmas of human existence. Adapted from late playwright Lonesco’s existential reflections, the production follows two retired glove puppeteers, Chan Yuk Lian and Cheong Meng.

Skechers International Pickleball Tournament

Date: May 16 –18 Time: 8am –12am Venue: PickleDepot, Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur Witness players from 14 countries compete for glory at Skechers’s upcoming International Pickleball Tournament. With categories ranging from Open Singles and Doubles to Intermediate Singles and Doubles, players of varying experience will compete to qualify for the World Pickleball Championship finals. The winners will walk home with a total prize pool of over RM80,000 and other premium rewards such as Skechers Viper Court Pro shoes, Facolos Pickleball paddles and over RM4,500 in Skechers vouchers and exclusive sponsored gifts.

Hymn of the Journey by Han Feng Dance Ensemble Date: May 17–18 Time: 2.30pm & 7pm Venue: Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), One Utama Petaling Jaya Tickets: RM75–RM95 In line with its 20th anniversary celebration, Han Feng Dance Ensemble is presenting its 7th dance showcase, Hymn of the Journey. Set to feature 44 dancers, the 90-minute performance will present dance as a passage through time. As its title suggests, “Journey” symbolises the passage of time akin to the cycle of the seasons, while “Hymn” represents the expression of emotion.
