PAAB MAKES HISTORY ... Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB), wholly owned by Minister of Finance (Incorporated), on Tuesday launched its Sustainable Islamic Finance Framework, marking three national milestones. The framework is Malaysia’s first to incorporate blue finance, the first to receive a Platinum Rated Framework certification, and the country’s first sustainable Islamic finance framework. NEW LISTING ... RT Pastry Holdings Bhd made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on Monday, opening at 17.5 sen, a 0.5 sen discount to its initial public offering (IPO) price of 18 sen, and closing its first day of trading at 16 sen. COO Tia Yu Hoo said the pastry and bakery products company plans to channel its IPO proceeds into expansion in the East Coast. Cuckoo International (MAL) Bhd (Cuckoo Malaysia) has consolidated its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives under a new master blueprint, the ‘Cuckoo Loves, Cares Project’, while introducing the RM100,000 Cuckoo Dream Fund to support the development of young local creative talents. The creative grant offers up to RM10,000 per project alongside industry mentorship for Malaysian creators aged 15 to 30. 40TH ANNIVERSARY DO ... The Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) held its 40th annual general meeting and launched its 40th anniversary celebration on Monday. The event brought together MGA members, industry leaders and policymakers to commemorate four decades of collaboration while looking ahead to the future of Malaysia’s energy system. Established in 1986, MGA has grown into Malaysia’s leading gas industry association, representing 158 corporate members across the gas value chain, from upstream activities to end consumers.
