MSU signs MoU with UUM to advance creative industry, TVET

S HAH ALAM: Management and Science University (MSU) has strengthened its commit ment to advancing the creative industry, culture, arts, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) on May 11. The strategic collaboration marks a significant partnership between public and private higher education institutions aimed at fostering industry relevance, enhancing talent development and creating new opportunities within the creative economy. The collaboration between MSU and UUM reflects a shared vision of strengthening academic excellence, advancing industry partnerships, and developing future-ready graduates capable of contributing meaningfully to Malaysia’s creative, cultural and economic development.

The School combines academic rigour with experiential learning through extensive industry collaborations, international mobility programmes, and real-world training opportunities. Guided by experienced academics and industry practitioners, students are nurtured in an environment that promotes creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership and professional excellence. The delegation was also introduced to The Mint at MSU, an innovative teaching and learning platform established by SHCA.
