AI-DRIVEN WORKFORCE ... PEOPLElogy Bhd, Malaysia’s first public listed digital workforce transformation company, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Pulsifi to accelerate AI-driven workforce transformation and advance workforce intelligence in Malaysia. The collaboration will be integrated under GOAL by PEOPLElogy, positioning it as Malaysia’s first integrated AI-powered workforce intelligence ecosystem a unified platform that seamlessly connects talent development, workforce analytics, and organisational performance at scale. THREADS OF HOPE ... WCT Holdings Bhd has launched its latest corporate social responsibility initiative, WCTGives Threads of Hope , in collaboration with Grace Community Services and Hazel & Nutz. The initiative aims to equip 20 women from B40 and vulnerable low-income communities with practical, income-generating sewing skills. The 11-week programme comprises 11 sewing lessons, with each four-hour session conducted in small groups to ensure personalised guidance, practical coaching, and hands-on learning. In support of the initiative, WCT is sponsoring 10 sewing machines, along with essential sewing tools and materials, to ensure participants are fully equipped throughout the programme.
LOFTY ACHIEVEMENT ... Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd, a strategic partner of the Financial Education Network (FEN), set a new national record through the organisation of its Jom Bijak Wang programme, which has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the ‘Highest Altitude Financial Literacy Programme in a Skyscraper’. The high-impact initiative. which was held at Level 83 of the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur at a height of 358 metres, brought together 30 students from orphanages, asnaf and B40 communities, with the objective of enhancing financial knowledge and money management skills through interactive and practical learning approaches. BANKING TALENT PIPELINE ... The Asian Banking School (ABS) on Tuesday announced the launch of a major digital transformation initiative aimed at redefining professional learning and workforce development for the banking and financial services industry across Malaysia, Asean and the broader Asian region. The initiative was officially unveiled at the launch of ABS Digitalisation Initiatives and ABSNEXLEARN Digital Learning Portal at the AICB Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together senior banking leaders, regulators, policymakers, and human capital leaders to discuss the future of talent development in the age of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.. AN OFFICE IN SHANGHAI ... Yinson Production on Wednesday officially opened its Shanghai office, strengthening its presence within one of the world’s leading offshore engineering and fabrication hubs and supporting the company’s projects and operations globally. The office will support closer collaboration with shipyards, suppliers, fabrication partners and technology providers in China, while enhancing execution capabilities and responsiveness to serve clients in key energy markets. SAVE AND RECYCLE ... Students of SK Ayer Merah learning about the Kulim Recycling Programme under Project SAVE (Segregate, Avoid, Value, Educate) at the Karnival Kitar community event. Project SAVE is Nestle Malaysia’s door-to-door recyclable collection initiative which spans nine cities nationwide. It expanded to Kulim in 2025 through a pilot with SWCorp, E-Idaman and ESH Resource, and has collected 100,000kg of recyclables in Kulim alone to date.
