Non-stop fun at KL’s Rain Rave Fest o Lineup of local, international artistes including Dolla, Wujackers, Joe Flizzow, Mimifly entertain vast crowds from all over T HE Rain Rave Water Music Festival 2026 saw thousands of visitors thronging the streets of Bukit Bintang as music boomed through day and night.

For three whole days, a variety of performances kept local and foreign visitors entertained, while showing off the talents of the entertainers involved. Stage for local artistes Four young Malaysian DJs, DJ Werno (De Wern), DJ Ameer, DJ Ethan and DJ Cube Crusher gave the country’s emerging youth talent a platform on a national stage and showed the depth of homegrown creativity coming through the scene. Following the kick-off, hip-hop names Joe Flizzow, Killa Driz and DJ Cza took to the main stage, followed by Dolla, the Malaysian girl group that has built a strong regional following since its debut in 2020 and is now one of the country’s leading exports in contemporary Malaysian pop. International DJs Pixzy from Thailand and Yoyo from China rounded out the night, both regulars on the Asian festival circuit, sharing the stage with traditional Malaysian dancers. International-level performances On the international front, Wujackers, the new collaboration between Bassjackers and Wukong, made its Rain Rave debut on the main stage, bringing the international festival following they have built across Europe and Asia. Bassjackers are regular fixtures at Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami and EDC Las Vegas while Wukong is recognised across the Asian circuit for pioneering his Oriental Rave sound. opportunities. Its was preceded by a set from international DJ Lovezy of the Philippines, with Malaysian acts continuing to anchor the night’s programme through to the closing set. Surreal closing night Also worth mentioning was the Splash of Culture, Flow of Heritage (Percikan Budaya, Alunan Warisan), a performance by Istana Budaya. Malaysian performer Mimifly took the main stage afterwards, joined by the Symphony of Water and Light sequence, a choreography of synchronised water fountains and lighting that carried the festival’s “Where Rain Becomes Rhythm” identity into its final night. The main stage also hosted the Malaysia Cultural Fashion Show by Alist Models, featuring around 40 young Malaysian models in traditional dress styled to the festival theme, fusing heritage and contemporary design for a family audience. All in all, the Rain Rave Festival was a resounding success and a boon for local businesses and entertainers. Wujackers headlining the second day of the festival with a performance.
