WHOLESOME PARTNERSHIP ... Carsome, Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, announced its strategic partnership with Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) by extending a one-year support for the newly introduced language programme for children in and around Putrajaya. Carsome’s contribution will support teachers’ allowances for the programme, which will run from April 11 to December. In addition, Carsome will also contribute petrol vouchers to 100 B40 recipients selected by PPj, to support families within the community. The strategic partnership was witnessed by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh (centre) at Carsome’s newly launched Putrajaya showroom on Monday. WOMEN IN BIOTECH ... Malaysia and Australia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen women’s participation and leadership in science, technology and innovation, particularly in high-growth sectors such as biotechnology. This commitment was highlighted in conjunction with the inaugural Malaysia-Australia Women in Biotechnology Luncheon, jointly organised by Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation and Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corporation (Bioeconomy Corp), held in Putrajaya on Tuesday. OVERSUBSCRIBED TWO TIMES ... Golden Destinations Group Bhd, a full-service outbound travel experience curator, which is set to debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securitie on April 16, announced on Wednesday that its share allocation to the Malaysian public from its initial public offering has been oversubscribed by 2.1 times. Golden Destinations’ IPO comprises a public issue of 200 million new ordinary shares. ACE MARKET BOUND ... Inspace Creation Bhd, a provider of comprehensive interior fitting-out services, has signed an underwriting agreement with TA Securities Holdings Bhd to underwrite a total of 26.97 million new shares in preparation for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities. HIGH-TECH DETECTIVE ... Maxis Bhd has won the Digital - Telecommunications category at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for its Fake BTS Detection Dashboard. The platform detects threats from unauthorised base transceiver stations, providing critical information that supports regulatory action.
