CERTIFIED HALAL ... Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown has officially received halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, reaffirming the hotel’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of halal compliance in its food and beverage preparation and service. The certification covers the hotel’s culinary operations across its banquet facilities and Midtown Brasserie kitchen. Marking the certification are Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown general manager Till Martin (sixth, left) and members of the hotel’s Halal Committee.
CHONGQING-KK DIRECT ... Tourism Malaysia welcomed the arrival of the inaugural direct service by Chongqing Airlines connecting Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and Kota Kinabalu International Airport on March 19. The new flight OQ2193 uses the Airbus A320neo and operates three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The inaugural flight was received by delegates from Tourism Malaysia, led by Tourism Malaysia Sabah director Haryanty Abu Bakar (right) alongside representatives from Sabah Tourism Board, Chongqing Airlines and Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd. Edotco Malaysia Sdn Bhd recently entered into a next generation network operations partnership with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to enhance telecommunications infrastructure management through technology-enabled operations, automation and smarter infrastructure solutions. NEXT STOP, ACE MARKET ... Golden Destinations Group Bhd, a full-service outbound travel experience curator, on Wednesday launched the prospectus in conjunction with its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities. The IPO aims to raise about RM90 million through the issuance of 200 million new shares at an issue price of 45 sen per share.
