THI S April, love ballads return to the highlands in full force as Panda Hsiung 2026 World Tour is set to take place on April 11 at the Arena of Stars. Hailed as a musical poet of Mandopop, Hsiung is the voice behind some of the most emotionally-charged classics of the late 90s to 2000s. Since his official debut in 1997 with the album Ai Qing Duo Nao He (Love on the Danube) , Hsiung has built a remarkable catalogue that continues to resonate across generations. His songs speak of love’s ache and hope, of confusion and clarity, of endings and new beginnings. Decades later, these tracks remain staple on competition stages and streaming playlists, rediscovered by younger audiences while cherished by longtime fans. For many, Hsiung’s music is not just a playlist, it is a chapter of life. From the first note of Huo Chai Tian Tang (Matchstick Heaven) to enduring favourites such as Xue Hou Niao (Snowy Oriole) , Ai Qing Duo Nao He (Love on the Danube) and Ye Ye Ye Ye (Night After Night) , his melodies have accompanied countless late nights, quiet reflections and unforgettable love stories. His music is more than nostalgia – it is memory, comfort and companionship through life’s turning points. This Malaysia stop is designed as more than a standard concert. With a focus on musicality and storytelling, the show places the spotlight on the songs, the melodies that rise and fall like heartbeats, the subtle turns in every phrase and the emotional weight carried in every lyric. With his signature guitar in hand, Hsiung will transform Arena of Stars into an intimate gathering where audiences can hear every delicate vibrato and feel every lingering pause. Audiences can expect a carefully curated setlist of timeless classics and fan-favourites such as Xiong Xin Wan Zhang (Boundless Heart) , Zui Hou Hai Shi Hui (In the End, I Still) and Yi Ge Ren Liu Lang (Wandering Alone) , alongside other beloved hits that defined the golden era of Mandopop. The evening will also allow space for fresh arrangements and spontaneous musical moments, giving fans the opportunity to experience familiar songs in new and moving ways. Joining him as a special guest artiste is Marina (Yang Yang), a celebrated singer-songwriter. Known for her works Tian Ya Gong Chi Shi (Sharing This Moment) , Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan (Together Again) and Wo Hen Xiang Jia (Homesick) , Marina brings international artistry and cross-cultural depth to the stage.
