The single is the second collaboration between Beele (left) and Shakira. Barranquilla beats unite: Shakira, Beele drop Algo Tu SHAKIRA and Colombian singer Beele have released their latest track Algo Tu after debuting the song live at Mexico City’s Zocalo earlier this month for over 400,000 fans. Their range of styles blend perfectly on the track, where Shakira and Beele deliver an incredible Latin and Afro-fusion hit with a nod to autochthonous instruments and sounds such as the Colombian gaita (pan flute), evoking the city of Barranquilla where Shakira and Beele were born. Considered the largest event held in Mexico City, the recent concert and Algo Tu built more excitement for Shakira’s upcoming return to Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, where she will take the stage for this year’s Todo Mundo No Rio concert on May 2. The free show will feature Shakira playing her greatest hits across her entire career, continuing her world tour through 2026. The single is the second collaboration between Shakira and Beele. The duo previously worked together on a 2025 version of her global hit Hips Don’t Lie , which featured Ed Sheeran and Beele for the Spotify anniversary celebration of her 2005 album Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 . Shakira’s Algo Tu comes on the heels of the Colombian songstress being crowned by Billboard as having the “highest-grossing Hispanic tour of all time” with her recent Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, achieving a gross revenue of US$421.6 million (RM1.6 billion), inclusive of 82 stadium shows all across the US and Latin America with over 3.3 million people in attendance.

Better Without Me : Breakup song with roots in kindness, self-awareness
INDIE-POP singer-songwriters Will Hyde and Stephanie Poetri have released their new collaborative single Better Without Me . Produced by US artiste Flawed Mangoes, the track blends emotionally vulnerable songwriting with a shimmering, guitar-led indie production. Sonically aligned with the heartfelt intimacy of Keshi, D4vd and Jeremy Zucker, the melodic warmth of Lany and Lauv, and the atmospheric textures of Oneheart and Joji, Better Without Me sits at the intersection of Southeast Asian indie-pop and global alt-pop sensibilities. The song opens with tender, clean electric guitars and Poetri’s effortless ad-libs before Hyde delivers a yearning, emotionally raw first verse. Poetri responds with dynamic vocal phrasing before both artistes converge on a warm, swelling chorus. A shuffling drum pattern and swaying
realisation that sometimes love means letting go. “I wrote Better Without Me as an acoustic song, about feeling like a burden in a relationship. You can love someone and also realise that feeling is like a burden, isn’t healthy for either person. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is walk away, so you can both grow. Working with Evan Lo (Flawed Mangoes) and Nick Cassidy made it feel like you’re floating – which is exactly how the song feels emotionally,” Hyde explained. “When I first heard the demo, I immediately understood why Hyde thought I’d be the right collaborator. I could already hear myself harmonising with him – writing my verse felt really organic,” Poetri added. Better Without Me marks a meeting of two distinct yet complementary voices in contemporary indie-pop – intimate, cross-border and built for global audiences.
guitar motif create a floating, almost weightless atmosphere – mirroring the song’s central tension. At its core, Better Without Me is a breakup song rooted in kindness and self-awareness – the painful Better Without Me is now available on Spotify and YouTube.
