HEALTHCARE TIE-UP ... Asia OneHealthcare (A1Health) recently signed a memorandum of understanding with MediExpress (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, marking a milestone collaboration that positions A1Health as the first hospital group to partner with MediExpress under its managed healthcare network. MediExpress will serve as a managed care partner across A1Health’s hospital network, with a shared focus on improving access to private healthcare, enhancing care coordination, and supporting the long-term sustainability of healthcare financing. LBS BINA’S CNY LUNCHEON ... LBS Bina Group Bhd hosted its Chinese New Year luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur as the group ushered in the Year of the Horse. The event was graced by the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, alongside other notable guests. The Chinese New Year celebration coincided with the group’s 65th anniversary. VISITORS FROM PERAK ... Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd recently had the opportunity to showcase the development of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project to a delegation from the Perak state government. The delegation, led by Perak Executive Council Member for Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Loh Sze Yee, was briefed on Sarawak Metro’s implementation of KUTS during their courtesy call on Sarawak Minister for Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin. The delegation, which included members of Invest Perak, also visited the Kuching Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) assembly facility at Demak Laut. BOOKINGS OPEN ... Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, on Thursday announced that bookings are open for the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce, marking a new chapter for the brand’s SUV line-up in in the country. The all-new variant will be offered in two variants - the Urban and the Ultimate - with tentative prices starting at RM110,000 for the Urban and RM120,000 for the Ultimate (on-the-road, without insurance). LUNG SHIELD PROGRAMME ... Branding and marketing solutions specialist SBS Nexus Bhd on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) to collaborate on the Lung Shield Programme by integrating corporate social responsibility and entrepreneur engagement while advocating on public health agenda. The initiative aims to mobilise the corporate sector to increase lung cancer awareness and to advocate for the prevention and early screening of lung cancer through various community outreach programmes. NURTURING GRADUATES ... Exchange 106 has entered into a partnership with Yayasan Pahang to create structured training and employment opportunities for graduates from Pahang. Selected graduates will undergo structured, industry-aligned training delivered by Yayasan Pahang’s training subsidiary, YP Advanced Skills Sdn Bhd (YPAS) before being placed at Exchange 106 for hands-on experience, with pathways to long-term roles.
