AIRLINES PARTNER UP ... Malaysia Airlines Bhd and Singapore Airlines on Thursday confirmed the formalisation of their joint business partnership, following the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia’s approval in January 2026, and the approval by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore in July 2025. The approvals enable the two airlines to begin work progressively on deepening their commercial partnership, enhancing connectivity and offering greater flexibility for customers travelling between Malaysia and Singapore. INVESTMENT MADE EASY ... ShopeePay has launched Money+, an investment feature starting from only RM10. Accessible via the ShopeePay app or Shopee app, Money+ was developed in partnership with iFAST Capital Sdn Bhd and is backed by Eastspring Investments Bhd’s syariah-compliant money market fund. SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP AWARD ... Wasco Bhd has been recognised under the Sustainable Finance and Investment Category at the Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2026 by the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei, highlighting the group’s leadership in embedding sustainability into its financial strategy. The recognition was awarded for Wasco’s Sustainable Transition Finance Framework, which is among the first in Asean to operationalise the Asean Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance within a corporate financing structure. DHL Supply Chain Malaysia has officially commenced operations at its new Malaysia South Region Hub 2 in the Senai Airport City Free Zone, marking the company’s second major logistics investment in Johor. The 18,660 square metre facility Is fully occupied by key investors operating within Senai Airport City. SELF-SERVICE CONVENIENCE ... OpenSys (M) Bhd on Monday announced the launch of the Horizon Series, a next-generation self-service banking platform developed through a strategic collaboration between its subsidiary, OpenSys Technologies Sdn Bhd, and OKI Electric Industry Co Ltd. The launch coincided with a partnership signing ceremony between OpenSys Technologies and OKI held in Kuala Lumpur. Horizon Series is the first cash recycling self-service banking platform designed and manufactured in Malaysia by OpenSys Technologies. WIDER RETAIL FOOTPRINT ... Tiles, stone surfaces, bathware and kitchenware retailer and distributor BMS Holdings Bhd has opened a retail showroom in Puchong, Selangor, marking another milestone in the group’s nationwide expansion strategy following its recent listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities. The newly opened showroom located in Kinrara will serve a high-density residential and commercial catchment encompassing Puchong, Sunway and Bukit Jalil.
