The year of plug-in hybrids
being able to drive well over 200km on electric mode alone, without the fear of not being able to find a charger or being stuck for hours while waiting for your turn to have a go at a public charger. The e.MAS 7 PHEV also looks better than its all-electric sibling and if your commute is less than 50km a day, you can technically drive around for four days without igniting the engine. As long as you don’t drive very fast that is. A PHEV is a great middle ground if you’re not ready to make the plunge into an EV as yet. Even Chery has introduced PHEV’s and they seem to be a really good bargain as well. status. So car makers ordered them by the thousands and that is why you can still get a good deal on a Tesla or a BYD. But that will not last though, so go ahead and buy one soon if you thought you missed the boat. This year also seems to be the year of plug-in
tactic to drive sales in December? After all, there were 8,123 EV’s registered in that month alone, which is more than triple the number of the same month in the year before. It is not false though, there is some truth to the price of EV’s rising this year. But the reason why we are not seeing

hybrids. Proton has just introduced the e.MAS 7 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid variant of the hugely popular fully electric e.MAS 7. This PHEV variant is a good choice for those of you who want to enjoy all the benefits of an EV such as
prices sky rocketing is because a lot of the cars we see listed on websites today were actually brought in last year. Every EV that reached our shores before Jan 1 2026 still enjoys duty free
