B OLLYWOOD hottest stars, from Janhvi Kapoor to Bhumi Pednekar, graced the golden carpet of the Swadesh flagship outlet in Mumbai last Friday. The brand is an ode to India’s traditional arts and artisans. “India is home to over 4000 traditional arts and handicrafts, and more than 70 lakh craftsmen and craftswomen. “Our artisans are truly the pride of our country. They have passed down their skills from one generation to the next,” Reliance Foundation founder and chairperson Nita Ambani said in a statement on its website. The stars were seen decked in Swadesh’s jewellery as they donned traditional attire.
