T HIS is the main message of the short film AI Education Robot , written, directed and acted entirely by the teachers and students of SJK (C) Yen Min in Perak: “Stop bullying. Artificial intelligence (AI) cannot replicate human life. When facing bullying, we should not remain silent like a robot.” Through this creative work, they hope to convey an anti-bullying message to society and raise awareness of bullying in schools. AI Education Robot is an original short film collaboratively produced by the teachers and students of a small primary school. The entire production was filmed solely using an iPhone. The cast includes Year 2 and Year 3 students, all the teachers of the school and even the headmistress – who took on an acting role for the first time to show full support for the project. Editing and post-production were also fully done by teachers, highlighting the belief that “education is not just about teaching, but also about sparking creativity and humanity”. This film integrates elements of education and technology, featuring an AI robot as the main character to explore human values, empathy and respect. It is not merely an entertaining school film but also a heartfelt and awareness-raising educational journey against bullying. The film is directed by teacher Chu Chong Sing, an educator passionate about filmmaking. He has long used video as a medium to communicate educational values through thought-provoking stories. His previous works include: 0 The Magic Research Team (2007) – An educational film about the process of product creation. 0 Angels and Demons (2009) – Portraying different perspectives of

parents, teachers and students toward education. 0 Dreams Come True (2013) – Encouraging students to chase their dreams and revealing the true keys to success. All of his works are based on school themes infused with educational and entertaining values. AI Education Robot marks his latest creation, combining AI elements to offer a futuristic yet morally grounded viewing experience. It is understood that Chu himself was once a victim of bullying during his school days. That painful experience inspired him to produce this film – as a voice for bullying victims and a reminder for society not to take the issue lightly, so schools can once again be safe and caring environments. About AI Education Robot The story is set in the year 2030 when the Education Ministry introduces AI robots in schools to assist in teaching and student guidance. However, unexpectedly, this becomes the beginning of a bullying incident. 0 An original creation by a small
