Luke Chiang releases new single AFTER returning to music earlier this year, Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter Luke Chiang unveiled his new single What Can I Do? , a retro-inspired pop-soul track featuring Filipino-American breakout voices Jesse Barrera and Albert Posis. The track marks the second Chiang co-wrote the track with Barrera and Posis – both celebrated names in the Asian-American music scene. The song’s genesis was spontaneous: “(Barrera, Albert) and I wrote this song

right after working on a folk, singer-songwriter piece with a completely opposite sound direction. “From the first few minutes of hearing them develop the chord progression and drums, I knew it was gonna be something I’ve never done before – uptempo, punchy, and soulful,” he said. What Can I Do? follows the success of Chiang’s lead single Terrible4u , which made an immediate impact on regional streaming platforms, landing on numerous high-visibility playlists and bringing his music to new ears across Southeast Asia and beyond. Since returning from a two-year vocal hiatus, Chiang has been steadily reintroducing himself and fans are listening.

release from Chiang’s debut full-length album, which is currently slated for the first quarter of 2026. Rooted in a nostalgic groove and carried by rich vocal harmonies, What Can I Do? reflects Chiang’s natural evolution as a vocalist and storyteller. The song wrestles with the quiet tension in a relationship – that feeling when something feels off, even if you cannot quite explain why – but is embraced all the same. As Chiang put it: “It’s about struggling to find the source of unspoken tension in a relationship, but embracing its flaws and all because it’s still your person and you’re a good thing together.”

in Joony’s evolving roll-out. While his first two singles of the year Dopa(Mine) and No Chill were solo efforts, this latest drop ushers in a collaborative chapter that hints at the direction of his forthcoming album this year. Behind the scenes, Joony’s momentum has only grown, securing credits alongside the likes of Brent Faiyaz, Blxst, Destin Conrad and Ty Dolla $ign, including a standout co-write on Ty’s recent single All In and a featured contribution to Destin Conrad’s focus track FMU! off the Love On Digital LP. With Pimpin , Joony proves he is not just teasing fans with new material, he is setting the tone and turning the heat up.

confident vibe, we knew we wanted to create something with a mix of suave, sexy and cool energy. We both sat down and got to work on it. I let Isaiah do his thing on the hook and then I came in right after with that same swagger. “A few months later, I sent the track to June and he vibed with it right away. He sent the record back to me almost immediately and that was that – everything fell into place. The lyrics, while a bit bold, were meant to carry assertiveness with a hint of humour and wit. We wanted it to feel playful yet confident.” Pimpin also marks a key moment

production, slick lyricism and soul connect to create a slow-burner that feels tailor-made for late night drives. Led by a buttery hook from Falls and strengthened by ultra player verses from Joony and June, Pimpin sees all three artistes delivering peak performances. While the track still taps into familiar hip-hop themes, each voice brings a fresh perspective, making this an instant add for any playlist featuring vibey summer songs or after-hours jams.

Chiang has returned from a two-year vocal hiatus.
