SINGAPOREAN singer Sezairi has released his fifth studio album The Art of Surrender , which illuminates the strength found in surrender. A poignant exploration of vulnerability and release, the album embodies the quiet confidence Sezairi gained through letting go, capturing reflective, tender and unmistakably human moments. “I really hope whoever listens to the album will slow down, look inward and rediscover the quiet power of acceptance that we are all beautifully flawed individuals. My wish is for this album to keep you company in the good times and the bad,” expressed Sezari. Spanning 12 tracks, the album release marks a major milestone for the singer as it is his first fully self-produced album – a culmination of years spent honing his craft, trusting his instincts and finding peace in vulnerability. His growth is further showcased with his versatility, featuring songs in English and Bahasa Indonesia. It features collaborations with Singaporean artiste Nathan Hartono and Indonesian artiste Teddy Adhitya. Sezairi has taken ownership of his work since the initiation of his label Offline Records. “It felt like a natural evolution for me as an artiste and producer to desire more control over the creative process and output, so establishing Offline Records felt the next logical step,” Sezairi noted. multidisciplinary artiste Daniel Ryn reflects on fate, burnout and quiet transformation in his latest EP Fortuna Fader , where the three-track release serves as the first chapter of his upcoming album cycle Daylight Saving Time , capturing the feeling of life slipping out of rhythm when exhaustion and reflection intertwine. Ryn describes the EP as a poetic, minimalistic introduction to the larger story he plans to tell where it blends lo-fi textures, soft vocals and sparse arrangements to create an atmosphere that feels personal yet spacious. The title mirrors its emotional core, suggesting fate slipping through one’s hands and burnout as the body’s gentle protest where the opening track Struggling to Come Back portrays self-recovery as a slow and unglamorous process. Drawing inspiration from Clairo, The Sundays and Lou Reed, it evokes the quiet perseverance needed to find one’s footing again after emotional fatigue. Exit Beach Music explores the comedown from escapism, capturing the relief and melancholy of letting go. The song features ambient tones influenced by Eyedress and Mac DeMarco, reflecting the calm that follows after a period
