MERIT RECOGNITION ... Malakoff Corporation Bhd has received a Merit Award at the National Energy Awards 2025 for its biomass co-firing project at the Tanjung Bin Power Plant in Johor. The recognition was presented at a ceremony officiated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof. SIGNATURE ANNIVERSARY ... Home and living solutions provider Signature International Bhd launched its 31st Anniversary Campaign at the Signature Flagship Store in Kota Damansara on Wednesday. The event was headlined by the unveiling of the Anggun Heritage Collection, introduction of Diana Danielle as Brand Celebrity and launch of the Signature Product Experience Zone. EV TECH TIE-UP ... Betamek Bhd, an original design manufacturer and a leading player in electronics manufacturing services for the automotive industry, on Wednesday announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Jiangsu Yibang New Energy Technology Co Ltd, a leading Chinese enterprise specialising in new energy vehicle charging protocol conversion technologies. At the signing are Betamek managing director Mirzan Mahathir and Jiangsu Yibang general manager Ma Tian Yi.

Wawasan Open University (WOU) has reinforced its role in bridging academia and industry by entering into new collaborations with an education partner and two Penang-based industry players, demonstrating its determination to co-develop talent pipelines together with key players from Penang’s high-tech industries.
