In collaboration with the National Blood Centre, Institut Jantung Negara, KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital and National Cancer Society Malaysia, there will also be a health carnival with a series of activities aimed at delivering valuable health education and services to the Subang Jaya community.
Blurring the boundaries between cinema and art, the groundbreaking showcase by artist and filmmaker Jonathan Jayasuria transforms the gallery into a living film set. Visitors will encounter miniature sets, immersive installations and 66 handcrafted robot figurines made from upcycled computer parts.
Helmed by Rune Bergmann, The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) will enthrall music lovers with Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.2 , a beloved work renowned for its virtuosic demands. Pianist Martin Garcia Garcia will take centre stage to perform this work with the MPO.
Kita Orang Art Exhibition 2025 Date: Until Oct 20 Time: 10am–10pm Venue: The Linc, Kuala Lumpur Entry fee: Free Themed “Blue and White 400”, the exhibition unites more than 400 artists from over 20 countries, each presenting works inspired by the 400th anniversary of the Wanli Shipwreck, created in shades of blue and white, with each artist interpreting the theme in their own way. Contributors hail from Malaysia, China, Japan, Italy, Spain, the Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand and more.
Symphony of the Seven Scrolls Date: Oct 18 Time: 2.30pm Venue: Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, KLCC Entry fee: RM98–RM158 Inspired by a famed legendary folktale, this concert will feature actress Nadia Aqilah, who acts as the narrator Puteri Gunung Ledang, presenting an enticing programme in seven segments. Under the leadership of resident conductor Gerard Salonga, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will perform classical masterpieces such as Mahler’s Symphony No.1 , Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade , Grieg’s Morning Mood , Prokofiev’s R omeo & Juliet Suite , Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain , Debussy’s Nocturnes and Stravinsky’s Firebird: Finale .
