Late Show with Stephen Colbert bagging Best Talk Series despite its cancellation, the night was one for the history books. As the film fraternity dedicated their wins to sociopolitical causes, this year’s Emmys reaffirmed that all art has always been political and it will forever stand in creative defiance.
