ROAD UPGRADE ... GREEN SUPPORT ... UOB Malaysia is supporting a RM3 billion Asean Green Medium Term Notes Programme (Asean Green MTN Programme) by FMM House Sdn Bhd. The bank acted as the principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager and facility agent for the programme. Proceeds from Tranche 1, which carries a 15-year tenor and an issue size of up to RM630 million, will be used to develop FMM’s three green logistics hubs in Pulau Indah, Klang, Selangor. FUND ROLLOUT ... Manulife Investments and Bank of China (Malaysia) Bhd (BOCM) on Thursday announced that they are offering BOCM clients the Manulife Global Multi-Asset Diversified Income Fund which invests at least 85% of its net asset value into the Manulife Global Fund-Global Multi-Asset Diversified Income Fund. EXPANDED PARTNERSHIP ... Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), Malaysia’s national payments network, and Ant International, a leading global digital payment, digitisation and financial technology provider, signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their partnership during MyFintech Week 2025 in Kuala Lumpur recently. The new pact prioritises four key focus areas - driving tourism through cross-border digital payments, strengthening fraud defences, developing talent and advancing sustainability. SOLAR POWER PACT ... SD Guthrie Bhd and Gamuda Energy Sdn Bhd have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop, own and operate solar power assets (including energy storage systems) with an accumulated target capacity of 1.2GW. Their partnership marks a significant milestone in Malaysia’s renewable energy development space.
