Jaden Chen drops album Front Page Chen sings about heartbreak in his album. BORN in Miri and raised in Brunei, Jaden Chen has unveiled his first full studio album Front Page , in which all songs were written by him. The album showcases his love for dance pop, R&B and pop rock, which are the music influences that he grew up with, plus his personal touch and artistic style. The songs tell stories of heartbreak and the longing of love that Chen experienced during his journey of self-discovery. From his child-parent relationship and youth romantic experience to his hopes for genuine love. The title track Make God will see Chen’s first official dance pop with full dance choreography. He is also fully involved in the outfit design of his music video and handmade the artistic headpiece. The album consists of 10 songs – four previously released singles and six new songs. The songs include Easier, Both of Us, Had It Easy, Girl’s Girl, Down To, Editor’s Cut, Love All the Way and You Ain’t Deny. The starting point of Chen’s interest in music is heavily inspired by TV programmes on Nickelodeon and Disney. With the rise of K-pop during his teen years, his passion grew even stronger with the increase of Asian representation in mainstream media, assuring him that he too can also make it as an artiste on the international stage. After graduating from high school, he decided to try pursuing a music career by first posting song and dance covers on social media. Though he had never been to formal singing and dance classes and had only been self-learning, he gained a significant number of followers.
