Platform for graduate employability
M ANAGEMENT and Science University (MSU) Career and Lifelong Learning Education Fair (MSUCEF) 2025 served as a platform to showcase the university’s strong commitment to graduate employ ability, and industry-academic col laboration. Organised by MSU Academy, it was an all-encompassing platform for employers, recruiters, and educational institutions to connect, collaborate and share insights on career development and employment opportunities. The fair is supported by MSU’s strong industry linkages and draws talent from diverse fields, including health sciences, business, information technology, engineering, education, hospitality and more. MSUCEF 2025 is a timely initiative that champions the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) agenda, with a structured approach aimed at producing skilled, future-ready graduates equipped for guaranteed employment. The education fair was held from August 1 to 2 at the Chancellor’s Hall of MSU’s main campus in Shah Alam and featured walk-in interviews, industrial talks, lifelong learning and upskilling sessions, live enrolment, and on-the-spot career guidance, with over 3,000 job opportunities across a range of sectors. Through a live exhibition by BYD Malaysia, visitors experienced the latest innovation in electric vehicles. Also present were industry experts from FuturiseU, HRD Corp, Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), EYTC Group and Resources Sdn Bhd, Ensign Infosecurity (M) Sdn Bhd, Kiddocare, Ormond Group, and FWD

a community college: Kolej Komuniti Segamat (Johor); a polytechnic: Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah; a local public university: Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia; a local private university: IJN University College; and fresh graduates from universities in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, a coordinated achievement through Madani Research Centre (MRC). MSU’s industry ecosystem is made up of robust local and global partnerships. Joining over 3,000 industries on board and strengthening industry-academia partnerships are eight organisations from the research, education, hospitality, and tourism sectors. Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, president and founder of MSU said, “The synergy between academia and industry is a vital pillar of nation building, driven by commercialisation, talent development, research, and community engagement. “We serve as a source of ideas and the skills needed,aligning with the growing demand for TVET graduates.” He expressed his appreciation to industry partners for their continued support and commitment to MSU.
