emotions of walking through a city at dawn. The track blends minor-key progressions with light, pulsing rhythms to blur the line between reality and the inner self, creating a strangely immersive atmosphere. Its lyrics such as “Even alone on this empty street, I didn’t feel lonely” and “This feeling, now familiar, has quietly become a part of me” reflect a narrative of solitude, quiet resilience and emotional introspection. Unlike the previous single, this track expands the emotional spectrum leading up to Shaun’s new EP. The song’s artwork and music video were directed by Jonah George, a global creative director known for his collaborations with Nike, Lauv and Jeremy Zucker. Filmed on the streets Tokyo at night, the video follows a man dressed in a robe as he wanders and runs through the city. Almost like a cinematic visual poem, the video relies solely on real urban light sources – vending machines, neon signs and street lamps. The use of close-up handheld shots and slow-motion sequences intensifies its emotional depth. With this release, the Way Back Home crooner portrays himself as a “timeless artiste”. Taking full creative control, from songwriting and lyrics to production, he continues to tell his story with honesty and vision. The upcoming EP is expected to be a culmination of Shaun’s emotional and artistic evolution, offering a deeper look into his musical identity. Night Walk is not only a key track in that journey, but also a raw and sincere emotional record.

Lullaboy makes waves internationally

SINGAPORE-BASED Indonesian R&B soul-pop sensation Lullaboy (Bernard Dinata) is set to make history this summer as the first Singapore-bred artiste to grace the stage at the Summer Sonic Festival in Bangkok on Aug 24. The performance will see him share the spotlight with global superstars such as Alicia Keys, 21 Savage, Camila Cabello and Black Eyed Peas. “It is an honour to represent Singapore and Indonesia on a stage of this magnitude. “To perform alongside legends such as Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas is beyond anything I dreamt possible. I hope this opens more doors for Southeast Asian artistes everywhere.” The announcement

The artiste has had a busy 2024 as he has achieved several milestones, including being the only artiste to have closed all six nights of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and becoming the first Singapore singer to perform at the inaugural Waterbomb SG. With over 100 million streams across platforms and a devoted global fanbase, Lullaboy has established himself as the “healer of the

BARELY a month after releasing the smooth bilingual jam Undercover feat. Ayumu Imazu , Sirup is back with another one, titled Our Heaven feat. Daichi Yamamoto, a prelude to his upcoming full-length album Owari Diary. Built on a hypnotic groove produced by KM, Our Heaven blends club heat with emotional release – the kind of track that makes you nod, move and maybe even feel something on a packed dance floor. It is made for overworked weekdays and underlit weekends – for the friends you find in the noise and the moments that make it all make sense, if only for a night. The verses weave through burnout, overstimulation, community and identity – themes that hit especially hard across a generation that knows what it means to be always on, always performing and always going. And yet, this track invites you to stop, breathe and move. The track does not promise escape instead it promises presence – the kind you create with people who get you, music that holds you, and a bassline that does not let go. The music video – directed by filmmaker Ryo Suda (RadWimps, Bad Hop, kZm) – brings Our Heaven to life, capturing the quiet beauty of Tokyo at dawn. Sirup’s third full-length album Owari Diary is set for release on Sept 3, with 11 tracks including fan favourites such as Cheese Cake feat.

Zion.T and new unreleased songs such as Kira Kira and Location . A Blu-ray edition will include live footage from his Next Life Tour 2025 performance at KT Zepp Yokohama. With the album drop and his 8th anniversary show Diary on Sept 14, one thing is clear: Sirup entering a new era. With a vocal style that effortlessly moves between rap and singing, he delivers genre-defying music rooted in neo-soul and R&B, blending elements of gospel and hip-hop into a refined sound that makes anyone feel good. He has also released collaborative tracks with artistes from the UK, South Korea, Australia

coincides with the release of his new single I don’t like u (but I love u) , the fifth track from his third album Hotels & Heartbreaks . The introspective anthem explores the complex dynamics of

love and compatibility, born from a deeply personal conversation that reshaped the artiste’s understanding of relationships. “If you do not like the person you love, will it last?” Lullaboy asked, encapsulating the central question that drives the track’s raw, reflective narrative. The song emerged from a quiet moment with someone close to Lullaboy, who shared a simple yet profound observation about their breakup. “I loved her, but I did not like her.”

Lullaboy has amassed over 100 million streams across platforms.
