A S the world navigates uncertainty and change, homegrown designer furniture brand Fuku Studio unveils a collection that speaks to the soul’s longing for serenity. The Tern Tern Collection draws its inspiration from one of Asia’s most enduring symbols of hope and harmony: the traditional lantern. Rooted in Tang Dynasty philosophy, where lanterns were created to represent peace in China, these luminous forms have long symbolised warmth, happiness and good fortune across Asian cultures. Light in every form The art of lantern-making has always been about more than illumination – it is about creating beauty that brings people together, spaces that foster connection and objects that carry meaning beyond their physical presence. Its designers have translated this ancient wisdom into four distinct pieces that form the collection – each one embodying the essence of lantern design while serving the practical needs of contemporary living. 0 Dian TV Console stands as more than just another television cabinet. Inspired by the elegant vertical shapes of traditional lanterns, Dian features simple curved edges that serve aesthetic and practical purposes. These thoughtful curves do not merely please the eye – they provide a sense of safety for families with children, transforming a functional necessity into a piece that protects and nurtures. 0 The Kaii Sectional Sofa draws from the vast diversity of lantern designs found across different cultures, celebrating the rich tapestry of Asian craftsmanship.
