JessC puts on inspiring puts on inspiring performance
I NTERNATIONAL singer Jessie Chung, or JessC, took the stage on Tuesday at the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting as part of her My Style world concert tour. Over the course of three hours and 33 songs, JessC fused lights, rhythm and emotional frequencies to set Genting ablaze. As a doctor of integrative clinical medicine and a certified therapeutic musician, JessC’s show was personally curated by blending science and art to turn “music therapy” from an abstract concept into a palpable energy release for nearly 5,000 fans in the arena. “This is not about showing off, it is about inspiration. Tonight, let us release positive energy together and detoxify our souls,” JessC said during the concert’s opening video monologue. Its Kasih Kekasih concert was originally scheduled to take place at ZEPP Kuala Lumpur on Sept 27. But, overwhelming demand for tickets prompted the group to shift to a bigger venue and different date. The concert will now be held at IdeaLive, Petaling Jaya on Sept 28. According to the group’s vocalist Mohd Syahril Abdul Khalid, earlier ticket buyers need not worry as they will be given special seats positioned closer to the stage according to their respective zones.
