Korean Virtuoso Date: June 28 Time: 8pm Venue: Petronas Philharmonic Hall Tickets: RM229–RM329 (A–C Reserve seats), RM379 (Premium seats) & RM439/RM499 (Premium seats) Presenting the crescendo of the week, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) continues to tell stories through its music collaborations, this time around with Korean violin virtuoso Bomsori Kim, a regular guest at renowned music festivals in Europe and a prizewinner of many prestigious violin competitions. With MPO, she will enthrall the audience at Petronas Philharmonic Hall with Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1 – a work with brilliant lyricism. Completed in 1866, this work will witness the MPO’s vigorous and energetic musicianship before the soloist enters with a full gypsy-like theme with a virtuosic flair.
