Celebration of success o MSU continues its journey of excellence with its 35th convocation ceremony M ANAGEMENT and Science University (MSU) held its 35th Convocation ceremony for 1,974 gradu

At MSU’s 35th convocation, five special categories of excellence awards were given to 49 graduates from Yayasan MSU.

Kedah. President and Founder of MSU, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab. Yajid and Vice-Chancellor of MSU Professor Puan Sri Datuk Dr Junainah Abd Hamid, members of the University’s Board of Directors, as well as senior management of the university attended the event. Five special categories of excellence awards were presented to 49 graduates, who received the prize from Yayasan MSU, including plaques, cash, and scholarships to continue their studies at MSU, in recognition for their overall academic and co curricular achievements throughout their studies. Among the awards in various categories were the Chancellor’s Gold Medal Award, the President’s Award, the Mohd Shukri Yajid Outstanding Award, academic awards as well as industry awards. The many industry partners involved in awarding industry awards to outstanding MSU graduates include MSU Pharma Sdn Bhd, MSU Medical Centre, Betelcare Sdn. ates across 126 academic pro grammes, who received their scrolls at the MSU Chancellor Hall. Among them, 47 graduates received their doc tor of philosophy (PhD) degrees, 64 master’s degrees, 887 bachelor’s degrees, and 976 diplomas. The Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) produced the most graduates from 27 academic programs, while the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) contributed the largest cohort of graduates, with 509 graduates. MSU also celebrated its inaugural cohort of graduates from three academic programmes, the Master’s in Counselling and Guidance, Early Childhood Education and the Bachelor in Liberal Arts (honours). (MoHE) recorded a graduate marketability (GM) rate of 99.7% and a graduate employment (GE) rate of 99% for MSU, making it one of the highest ranked universities in Malaysia, in terms of employability and marketability. This achievement is further underscored by Talentbank’s recognition of MSU through The National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index) as The Employers’ Choice of University 2025. These indicators demonstrate the effectiveness of MSU’s teaching and learning approach in producing graduates who are both job-ready and future-ready. MSU’s internationalization efforts, particularly through mobility

programs aimed at empowering students in leadership development, align with the university’s motto, “Transforming Lives, Enriching Future.” The introduction of the Scholarship for Mobility and International Learning Experiences (SMILE) by the MSU Foundation has supported student participation in mobility programs such as the Global Mobility Programme (GMP) and the Global Leadership Programme (GLP). To date, MSU has a network of over 350 university partners worldwide, covering Southeast Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, China, the Middle East, Eurasia, Europe, West Asia, and Oceania.
